Welcome

I am a licensed clinical psychologist with over 30 years of experience working with children, adults, couples, families, and groups. I am also a trained Collaborative Law Coach and mediator and was formerly on the clinical faculty of Harvard Medical School and the staff of Harvard Community Health Plan.

My background in both child and adult mental health enables me to bring a unique perspective to people navigating stressful transitions and confronting difficult issues in their lives. I strive to help people move forward with self-compassion and increased understanding of themselves and others.

PSYCHOTHERAPY

As a licensed clinical psychologist I provide psychotherapy to individuals, couples and families. Treatment is tailored to meet individual needs and concerns. My areas of expertise include treatment of anxiety, depression, grief and loss; motherless-daughters; life transitions; and the impact of divorce on children and families.

STICKING POINTS

There are times when negotiations, mediations, or legal processes reach an impasse. It may not be clear what is interrupting the process. As an consultant I work with clients and professionals to identify the “sticking points” that are undermining their goals—helping to them to gain greater clarity, new insights, and tools to reach successful resolutions.

MEDIATION

As a mediator I work with couples, families, friends, and colleagues who want to address disagreements with a structured goal-oriented approach. This includes developing parenting plans related to separation or divorce. I also offer Mediation to Stay Married, an alternative dispute resolution process for couples.

COLLABORATIVE LAW

As a Collaborative Law Coach I work with clients, their attorneys, and financial professionals, to help facilitate a respectful and efficient divorce process. I help clients navigate the difficult moments that arise, improving communication while focusing on their individual needs and goals.
